A series of consultations are set to be held across Leicester on plans to build a new employment park near Junction 11 of the M42 which could create up to 3,000 jobs.
The proposals from IM Properties for the 238-acre site at Hill Top Farm, Stretton-en-le-Field near Appleby Magna were first revealed by Insider in March.
The developer has said the scheme could create up to 170 construction jobs per annum during the build as well as bringing in excess of £7m per year of business rates for the district.
The scheme took a major step forward in May after North West Leicestershire District Council cleared the way for a formal planning application to be submitted.
The plan currently includes four zones with construction expected to start in 2019 and finish in 2021 if the council gives the scheme the go-ahead.
According to a scoping report, zone one would have 1.5 million sq ft of space, zones two and three would have one million sq ft while zone four would have 71,000 sq ft of space.
The proposal includes the demolition of the existing buildings on the site.

“Over the last nine months we have worked with North West Leicestershire District Council and other stakeholders to develop high-quality proposals for the site, which take into account local considerations and the necessary supporting infrastructure required.
“Our proposals have been carefully created to minimise visual impact where possible and include sensitive landscaping throughout.
“We will be consulting with local people and stakeholders to ensure that their views are heard and understood, helping us to shape the best possible scheme for the area.”
