Tips to help reduce financial stress

Financial Friday focuses on helping you reduce anxiety and stress related to your finances. Jordan Credit Union’s Landon Bradfield joined forces with Justin Olsen, Orem Clinical Director and Business Consultant from Blomquist Hale Solutions to provide some simple steps to help address your money woes.

Ways to reduce your financial stress:

  1. Talk to someone – seek help from family, friends, or a therapist.
  2. Set up a game plan to address your situation – taking inventory of your finances, identify the source(s) of your financial stress, identify needs vs wants, make a budget – spend less, make more money, start and emergency fund.
  3. Fill up your reservoir (take care of yourself) – get good sleep, eat healthy, exercise, do things that help make you happy, talk out the good and the bad
