Lastly, bring a surprise for your child that will keep them occupied.
Packing certain essentials for your flight or drive could make things easier as well. Some of the items to pack are: hand sanitizer or wipes, a smartphone or tablet along with headphones, art supplies like a small box of crayons with blank paper and water or low sugar snacks.
There are multiple ways to save money also while you’re traveling. Another way to but down on money, spend a day away from attractions. Taking advantage of hanging out by the pool or going to a museum still gives you and your family a chance to enjoy the trip without breaking the budget. Cut back on food expenses by eating the free breakfast at the hotel or splitting one meal with your child can save on the expensive dinners eating out. Lastly, rent a condo or home in stead of a hotel.
If you’re not planning to take a trip, there’s also a few things you can do to keep your child active.
Visit local attractions like the zoo, library or museums. This will be interactive without breaking the bank. Try something simple like building a fort in the backyard or having a scavenger hunt around the house. Heading out to the local park will give your child a chance to be physically active and also maybe make some new friends. Finally, try new things like a sport or hobby that could turn into a consistent activity for your child.
