Copyright and takedown
If you believe something published on this site infringes your copyright, tell us and we will act on it. You do not need a lawyer to contact us, and you do not need to send a formal notice — an email identifying the material is enough to start.
How to report it
Write to us via our contact page with:
- the address (URL) of the page you are complaining about;
- a description of the work you say has been copied, and where it was first published;
- your name and how to reach you;
- confirmation that you are the rights-holder or are authorised to act for them.
If you are sending a formal notice under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act, please also include a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights-holder or the law, a statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and your physical or electronic signature.
What we do
We aim to acknowledge every report within two business days and to reach a decision within ten business days. Where a complaint is well-founded we remove or correct the material. Where material has been published without proper attribution, we will correct the attribution or remove the item, at the rights-holder's preference where we reasonably can.
We would rather hear from you directly than through a lawyer, and we will not treat a report as a hostile act.
Republished and syndicated material
Some material on this site originates with third parties, including newswire releases and archived items. If you are the rights-holder of any such material and object to its presence here, the route above applies to it in full.
If you think we got it wrong
If we remove something you published and you believe that was a mistake, contact us and we will review it. Tell us what was removed and why you believe you are entitled to publish it.
Our own material
Our original articles belong to Market Equities Limited. See our terms of use for what you may do with them, and ask us if you would like to republish something.
