You Can Now Order Food Delivery Through Google

Google Search, Google Assistant, and Google Maps all now let you order food delivery from some of the biggest food delivery services. That’s big because it means you might be able to place orders at your favorite restaurants without having to open a single food delivery app or remember which service you need to order through.

To start, Google says that DoorDash, Postmates, Delivery.com, Slice, and ChowNow are supported, but that Zuppler and others are coming soon.

How does it work? You start with a search for a restaurant. If they are a participating restaurant, you’ll see an “Order Online” button in Search or Maps that walks you through choosing items, viewing delivery or pickup options, and checkout. The results will show you if restaurants are available from multiple delivery services too.

Want to try Google Assistant? Ask Google to order food from your favorite restaurants to get a step-by-step process from the Assistant. Again, this only works with participating restaurants.
