Switch Reveals And Pokemon Headline This Week’s Nintendo News

A surprise Nintendo Direct broadcast revealed a literal ton of forthcoming Switch titles, and we also got word of the localization of Detective Pikachu. This week’s headlines from Nintendo are all about what’s just along the horizon.

On the more mature end of the spectrum, RPGs Darkest Dungeon and Dark Souls are coming to Switch. New DLC is dropping for Super Mario Odyssey, Pokken Tournament DX, and Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. Pokemon Go will see new monthly events in 2018, but if you have an older iPhone, the game may no longer work after a forthcoming update. To round everything up, a bright yellow Pikachu New 2DS XL model will release alongside Pokemon Crystal at the end of this month.
